Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health care assistant to contribute to the development of the service.
You will be expected to use your own initiative and work both independently and alongside the existing team members ensuring that the patients and families have the best possible experience during their visit in the department.
Previous experience as healthcare assistant and experience of working with children and families is essential. There will be opportunities to develop your existing skills and gain new skills and knowledge within this role.
Greet patients and manage the flow within the department.
Use enhanced communication skills to ensure visitors are kept informed of any delays.
Chaperone patients during clinical consultation.
Preparing the clinic rooms daily.
Stores organisation and ordering.
Assisting with procedures after appropriate training.
To provide Continence education and support to patients and families after appropriate training.
To support the dietetic clinic after appropriate training.
To work effectively as part of a team or single handedly as required.
Develop own skills and knowledge and provide information to others to help their development.
