Full Job Description

We are committed to putting patient care first and we are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic Health Care Assistants who share our values and our passion for good quality patient focused care providing administration support to our community gynaecology service.

You will be working as part of a wider team of Health Care Assistants, supported by a dedicated team of managers, administrators and clinical specialists in our growing community gynaecology service. This Service covers most of the Nottinghamshire area and as such you will be required to attend various clinic locations within the locality undertaking appropriately delegated tasks and duties.

The role provides support to the Community Gynaecology Clinicians to enable them to function effectively. The post holder is expected to contribute to the teams aim of providing high quality, safe and effective care to our patients.,

  • To act as a chaperone during examinations and procedures


  • To prepare the clinic rooms for appointments and minor surgeries


  • To perform and process venepuncture and other samples for patients using appropriate equipment

    GCSE Mathematics and English Grace C or above or Level 2 Functional skills


  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care/Care Certificate or equivalent training and experience, or willingness to undertake.


  • Experience within a healthcare setting
