Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity to work within Same Day Emergency Care service has arisen. The service will operate from 07:30- 23:00. You will support the nursing staff and provide excellent patient care whilst maintaining the trust values. Opportunities will be available for further training and development.,
- To assist the team in preparing the Unit environment for patient care delivery.
- To complete delegated tasks such as undertaking and recording vital signs, ECG, venepuncture, Blood glucose levels, swabs etc.
- To ensure own actions help to maintain quality and infection control standards.
- Establish and maintain communication with patients, relatives and cares and the multidisciplinary team to be able to provide information to others to help their development.
- Develop own skills and knowledge and provide information to others to help their development.
- Monitor and maintain health, safety and security of self and others in own work area.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services.
- Ability to work flexibly and unsociable hours to meet the demands of the service.
