Full Job Description
The post holder has a specific remit to support the GP Practices in Mid and South Notts to reduce the backlog of diagnostic spirometry created by the Covid-19 pandemic. This will be achieved by performing diagnostic spirometry.,
- Undertake diagnostic spirometry including reversibility which will require use of beta-agonist medication administered via a PGD if the post holder not a prescriber
- Deliver high standards of patient care using advanced autonomous clinical knowledge in the specific area, incorporating broad in depth knowledge base and evidence based practice.
- Support Practice Nurses / Practice Managers / care coordinators to identify adult patients who require spirometry for diagnosis of respiratory disease and to prioritise those patients whose clinical need is greatest.
Registered HCA qualification - Experience of doing and recording of spirometry tests
- Driving licence holder with sole use of vehicle for business usage
