Full Job Description

Heather Ward (at the Airedale Centre for Mental Health) is looking for passionate and committed individuals to join our ward as Health Care Support Workers (HCSW)., To provide generic care and planned interventions to the patients/clients within the Adult Mental Health Acute Care Service.

Provide care to patients to maintain their personal hygiene, physical health and psychological comfort ensuring that their privacy and dignity is always maintained.

Under the supervision of registered health care professionals assist the healthcare team with the provision of clinical care for a defined group of patients

Ensure patient safety is maintained and patient experience is positive by treating all patients, relatives and colleagues with respect, dignity, and courtesy in accordance with Trust values.

Takes leadership from Assistant Practitioner within a delegation framework for agreed tasks., We will consider a variety of flexible working arrangements to enable staff to balance their work and home lives and support staff by offering a fantastic range of benefits including :
