Full Job Description
To assist registered nurses the delivery of planned health care within the dialysis unit. The band 2 clinical support worker will under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in assisting the meeting the physical, psychological and social needs of the patients receiving heamodialysis treatment. They will follow a structured training programme under supervision of a mentor to complete demonstrate competence.
A very exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Care Support Worker Band 2 who will be wiling to support the Registered Renal Nurses in carrying out care to haemodialysis patients has now opened . The successful applicant will support patients undergoing regular haemodialysis treatment ,feed them ,to help turn around the shift . She or He will be supported by the haemodialysis staff in acquiring the needed skills and knowledge. Swindon Renal Unit is a Satellite Unit of Oxford Kidney Unit and provides an Outpatient Service of Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis and Renal Clinics for patients in Swindon and surrounding area.,
