Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen in the Community Mental Health (CMHT) Team Area 3, Ty Einon Centre for a Health Care Support Worker (Band 3) to join our busy team. The team operates Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm except Bank Holidays., Supporting Service Users in Social Inclusion by supporting/empowering them to access social groups/activities

Providing support to Service Users to access Services to assist with maximising their financial entitlements

Assisting qualified nursing staff in the facilitating of Clinics at Ty Einon Centre

Supporting Service Users to attend appointments

We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential as well as having a positive attitude to mental health care whilst ensuring individual needs for privacy, dignity, respect and confidentiality are upheld at all times. Working as a member of the CMHT will involve working within the guidelines of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010 and keeping the Recovery ethos at the forefront of nursing care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential for this role.
