Full Job Description

Tudor Court is a Residential Intermediate Care Unit in the community of Heywood providing 24 beds.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing short term assessment and rehabilitation to patients 18 years and over.

The emphasis is on rehabilitation and reablement with an aim of a safe and timely return home.

You will be required to work on a rota covering various shifts, long days (12 hours) and nights including weekends and Bank Holidays., As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will carry out routine health related activities to complete personal care and activities of daily living ensuring patient lead focused care.

You will provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.

To provide all aspects of personal care including washing, dressing and toileting. Assist with taking nutrition and hydration. Follow risk assessments and therapy plans for each individual patient. Promoting independence.

Assess, record and evaluate patient information on paper and electronic systems.
