Mental Health Facilitator service provides Annual Mental Health and Physical Health review to individuals with Severe Mental Illnesses across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.We have 2 permanent positions available within Leicestershire (county area) , working 37.5hours per week, Monday to Friday. The principle role of the Senior Healthcare Assistant is to assist the healthcare team in the provision and delivery of programmes of patient care under the indirect supervision of registered practitioners.   • Supporting clients/service users in maintaining their health and wellbeing,
  • Taking physical (including blood tests)or psychological measurements from named clients/service users as delegated by the team;
  • Supporting clients/service users in maintaining their health and wellbeing;
  • Undertaking specified and delegated clinical and therapeutic activities;
  • Under the supervision of healthcare professionals assist the healthcare team with the planning, organising and provision of clinical care;
  • Ensuring high standards are maintained in a safe environment, which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals;
  • Assisting Registered Professionals in the implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans;
  • Accurately recording patient information; and
  • Provide support and supervision to other colleagues and learners as appropriate

  • Work autonomously and be a car driver and owner., working patterns in line with our flexible working policy. For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6-month probationary period (see Probation Policy). All jobs will require permission to work in the UK. Must have phlebotomy training or willing to complete the training upon appointment.
