Full Job Description

Our Endoscopy Unit based at Glangwili General Hospital is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic, forward thinking Health Care Support Worker to join our Endoscopy team.

The post is full time 37.5 hours per week.

The Endoscopy unit has a friendly supportive environment, which is strongly focused on teamwork and patient care. It provides diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services for both inpatients and outpatients. We are currently running 5 days a week. It has two procedure rooms and has JAG accreditation., Responsible for assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Gastroenterology, Respiratory and Urology along with administration duties to ensure the smooth running of the lists.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

48 general practices (six of which are managed practices), 47 dental practices (including three orthodontic), 99 community pharmacies, 44 general ophthalmic practices (43 providing Eye Health Examination Wales and 34 low vision services) and 17 domiciliary only providers and 11 health centres
