The Mid Yorkshire Teaching Trust are seeking an inspiring Consultant Midwife - Health Equity to champion health equity and enhance access to maternity care for all women, birthing people, and families in our community. Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust serves the Wakefield District and North Kirklees, supporting approximately 5,600 births annually. As a Consultant Midwife, your mission will be to improve health outcomes by ensuring equitable, high-quality maternity services. You will lead initiatives in , innovation, and service development to address health disparities lead research, and foster clinical excellence.,
- Drive strategies to reduce health inequalities and achieve population-based health outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement service improvements and advance practice.
- Co-produce services with MNVP, using diverse feedback to guide enhancements.
- Lead on public health initiatives, coordinating with regional services and stakeholders.
- Ensure responsive, expert care for women, birthing people, and families.
