Health & Fitness Advisor / Shift Lead @ Macclesfield Town Centre

As a Health & Fitness Advisor (Gym Instructor) you'll create fantastic experiences full of energy and enthusiasm for our customers. A friendly face on the gym floor you'll help customers of all ages & abilities with their health & fitness needs - from new gym users to rehabilitation and pushing the hardcore harder - you'll help each & every customer makes the most of their workout. Delivering incredible inductions and designing programmes to help people achieve their goals is a huge part of the job, and equally as important Health & Fitness Advisors also take responsibility for keeping our gyms vibrant, safe & clean places that people want to come back to time and time again. As a Health & Fitness Advisor at our new facility in the heart of the town centre, you'll also act as a Shift Lead. This'll involve taking responsibility for health & safety of staff & customers when you're on-shift, as well as setting up / closing down the building and equipment each shift. The facility is designed to deliver services across our fitness & health products and you'll work closely with our Everybody Healthy team to optimise the use of the space & ensure a seamless experience for customers. It's also a great way to boost your career in the leisure industry - many Everybody Health & Fitness Advisors have developed further - for example as Personal Trainers, Fitness Instructors and Duty Managers. Health & Fitness Advisors need to be qualified to a minimum of L2, and ideally will also have L3 Personal Training. Location: Everybody @ Macclesfield Central Located on Gas Road, nestled in the heart of Macclesfield Town Centre and just a stones throw from Macclesfield Train Station. Hours: Part Time - 20 Hours available.

Everybody @ Macclesfield Central is our brand new multi-purpose health and fitness hub, opening January 2025. The site will be made up of two Hubs - the Health Hub and Fitness Hub. The Fitness Hub will offer state of the art gym equipment as well as boutique fitness classes and personal training. And aligning with our charity's purpose of helping people to live well and for longer, the Health Hub will support residents living with long-term health conditions by offering health consultations, rehabilitation exercise sessions and exercise referral programmes. We hope that the close proximity to Waters Green Medical Centre will help to reduce barriers for local people seeking to access health and wellbeing support as recommended by their GP or health professional.
