Full Job Description

Hartlepool Borough Council's Community Hubs have gone through an exciting period of change and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help us drive forward our next chapter as part of our Health Improvement Team.

The purpose of the post is to work with communities to contribute to improving their health and wellbeing outcomes across Hartlepool. This includes supporting with the expansion of the Better Health at Work Award which recognises the efforts of employers in improving health and wellbeing within the workplace. The post holder will also develop and deliver a range of relevant training courses such as Making Every Contact Count (MECC) and other public health related provision.

The successful candidate will work with communities and individuals to improve their physical, emotional and social health and wellbeing by initiating opportunities for change. The post holder will also create and deliver a range of health improvement campaigns and programmes in line with local health and wellbeing priorities for Hartlepool.
