Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Inequalities Lead based at Weston General Hospital, on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

This autonomous, new role will be crucial to the delivery of the Health Equity and Patient Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy., people and vulnerable adults. The post holder is responsible for leading a programme of work across Weston General Hospital focusing on patients, carers and communities with a primary focus on reducing and eliminating health inequalities.

The post holder will need to understand what service provision is required in Weston General Hospital, to improve equity of service for addiction, High Impact Users (HIU), mental health and any other service that may impact on health inequalities.
