Full Job Description

Are you driven to improve the experience of our patients through reducing Health Inequalities for our community? We are looking for a passionate and driven Health Inequalities Officer sitting within the Experience of Care team and driving forward some key initiatives including Veteran care at UHS, care delivery of our Transgender community, training, and education in the support of our Gypsy Romany Traveller community and much more., Equality remains at the centre of our policymaking, service delivery, and employment practice, giving all employees equal opportunity to develop, apply for promotions, and have working arrangements that enable them to achieve a manageable work-life balance.

Has substantial experience of working with disadvantaged groups in a variety of settings
- Has knowledge and understanding of challenges facing disadvantaged groups within a health context
- Has knowledge and understanding of health inequalities and the socio-economic factors that drive these
- Has the ability to work flexibly to support the varying demands of the service
