Full Job Description

As South HSQE Advisor, you will support the local management team across 7 depots throughout the Midlands, Central & South-West of England. You'll support the operational team and the wider HSQE team both locally and nationally, ensuring that health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are met and exceeded.,

  • Risk Management: Support and facilitate effective and proportionate management of HSQE across the South Region.

  • Relationship Building: Develop positive and proactive business relationships with all stakeholders.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical advice, coaching, training, and support delivery of risk management programs.

  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and improve implementation of risk assessments, work instructions, and KPIs.

  • Incident Management: Support accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Compliance: Assist in maintaining ISO and FORS (Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme) accreditation and support internal and external audits.

    Experience: Recent and demonstrable experience as an HSQE Advisor.

  • Qualifications: Relevant professional Qualification; Level 3 qualification in H&S (essential); Level 6 H&S Qualification & second related discipline (preferred).

  • Skills: Excellent communication, proactive support, and ability to act as a role model.

  • Expertise: Subject matter expert with specialist advice and support capabilities.

  • Professional Membership: Membership of an appropriate professional body; Chartered membership (desirable).

  • Travel: This is essential to the role and will be expected to ensure we provide face to face support to the operational teams.

    Compensation: Competitive base salary with an annual bonus.
