The role - Health an Safety Advisor

As Health and Safety Advisor you will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of health, safety, and well-being across our organisation. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll support the delivery of our health and safety objectives in line with our strategic goals.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for the following:

Internal Audits: Support our internal audit programme to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive health and safety training programmes.
Incident Management: Manage the accident and incident reporting process and conduct thorough investigations when necessary.
KPI Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicator (KPI) data, compiling insightful reports for management.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in health and safety management.
What you'll need

Certifications: NEBOSH or NCRQ certificate, or an equivalent health and safety qualification.
Health and Safety Experience: Experience working with staff and managers on health and safety issues across various levels.
Risk Management: Experience in risk management processes and conducting investigations.
Influence and Consultation: Strong ability to inform, consult, and influence others effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Personal Attributes: A confident and articulate spokesperson who embodies trust and integrity.
