Full Job Description
Oundle School has an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to champion and promote health and safety awareness across the school.
The Role
The primary function of the Health and Safety Manager is to champion and promote health and safety awareness; and monitor that safety related functions, including risk assessments and training, are being satisfactorily completed on behalf of the School. They are responsible for the Health and Safety Policy and the associated policy suite and guidance. The Health and Safety Manager will also share and advise on good practice across the School on health and safety matters, and disseminate information as appropriate.
Working as the line manager of the Fire Safety Officer, they will oversee and retain responsibility for compliance with fire safety legislation.
Working weeks: This role is full-time.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)
