Health & Safety Officer

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Working with the H&S Manager to identify and evaluate H&S risks and to provide recommendations to Operational Management Team to avoid, mitigate, or reduce the potential impact of these risks to the Plant .
• To attend Safety Committee Meetings for both DHL and the Customer and be able to lead and take an active leading role, driving correct standards and ensuring minutes and actions are effectively undertaken.
• Keeping up to date with H&S Compliance and policies.
• Continuous Improvement for site.

• Experience within a fast paced automotive industry.
• H&S experience within a Supply Chain and, or Logistics environment is essential.
• NEBOSH Qualification & ISO Experience is ESSENTIAL
• Strong communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
