Full Job Description

We are now seeking an experienced Health and Safety Officer on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation based at our Border Control Point site. This will be a large and varied role encompassing 3 main areas; Safety

  • Ensuring that site is legislatively compliant.
  • Overseeing safe standards or working
  • Supporting permits of work
  • Audits
  • Completing internal and external inspections and audits
  • Environment

  • Pollution and spill containment (though experience in this area would be ideal we are happy for the right candidate to provide Ground Commander Training)
  • You will be accountable for taking our Operational Management Plan and understanding, interpreting and translating this into appropriate and sustainable process and practises so you will need to be a proven analytical thinker. You will have a minimum of an IOSH qualification with the willingness to achieve your NEBOSH.
