Full Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic, resilient, and motivated Band 5 staff nurse ready for a fresh challenge? Are you eager to advance your career within a supportive and forward-thinking team? If so, we invite you to join our community-based 0-19 Integrated Early Help Team in East Sussex.

In this role, you'll be delivering the National Healthy Child Programme with a clear focus on enhancing the health and wellbeing of children (aged 0-5 years) and their families. Alongside the 5 mandated reviews, you will be working in child health clinics and facilitating Emotional Wellbeing Visits to parents who are needing extra support with their mental health in the perinatal period.

You'll make a meaningful difference by working directly with families in their homes or clinic settings, addressing their needs in a holistic and impactful way.

What Sets Us Apart?

Professional Development: Access a comprehensive induction programme designed to build your confidence and expertise and gain hands-on mentorship from experienced practitioners.

Ongoing Support: Receive regular clinical supervision and benefit from accessible, supportive line-management.

A Culture of Wellbeing: Work in an environment that prioritises your safety, resilience, and overall wellbeing, ensuring you feel valued and supported.

A registered adult, paediatric, mental health nurse, or midwife who is ready to make an impact in the community, working in the field of public health and supporting perinatal and infant mental health.

A practitioner who has an understanding of the Healthy Child Programme.

A reflective and emotionally intelligent practitioner, skilled at balancing priorities and utilising supervision effectively.

Someone who demonstratesintegrity, kindness, and inclusion, fostering strong interpersonal relationships with families and colleagues.

If you're passionate about family-centered care and excited by the prospect of progressing your career, we'd love to hear from you., Disability Confident
