Full Job Description

The Hospice at Home Team requires a Healthcare Assistant to provide flexible provision of the service 7 days per week 9pm 8am. This role will be working 35 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to be part of this successful, dynamic and forward thinking team; you will provide hands on care for patients and their families in their home who suffer with a range of life limiting conditions and are nearing the end of their lives, You will work as part of an integrated service over night that compliments existing community services and work in partnership with existing day services to ensure high quality 24 hr provision of care.

The successful candidate will be a proven team player, have three years experience working in a health care setting and preferably have community experience.

You will possess excellent communication skills, be self motivated and be an excellent team player. A caring nature and genuine interest in caring for the dying is essential, as is a car and current UK driving license.
