Chaperoning duties

Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses

Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording

Surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation

Assisting the nurses with immunisation clinics

Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms

Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations/coil fits.

Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual to include but not limited to:

NHS health checks

Dressings

Long term condition reviews part 1

Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted

Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being

Other duties as required and as both the role and the practice evolve.

We are a progressive SystmOne practice with a list size of approximately 12000 patients. We have an excellent nursing team consisting of 3 nurses and 3 HCAs. Working alongside them are 4 GP partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 3 ECPs & 2 Practice Pharmacists and a highly supportive Patient Service team. We are a training practice for GP registrars and medical students and highly value every member of our practice team.
