Healthcare Assistant

To assist the intermediate care bed base staff in the provision of nursing care and support to patients and families in the bed base setting., To work as part of an integrated Community intermediate care Service in providing specific care to a patient in the bed base setting as written in the care plan.

To provide personal care and support to patients in the bed base setting

To work alone and unsupervised and the ability to work autonomously.

To be responsible for the ordering of clinical supplies and stationery for the Community Nursing Team.

To work in accordance with Trust Policies and Procedures.

To maintain high standards of personal hygiene adhering to Health and Safety Guidelines and Infection Control Guidelines within the trust.

To respect confidential information during the course of your work and refrain from discussing such information without the consent of the patient/client or a person entitled to act on his/her behalf, except where disclosure is required by law or by the Order of a Court or is necessary in the public interest.

Flexible working will be considered for all roles.
