Healthcare Assistant

As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

• Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
• Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
• Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics
• Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres

We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Primary Care team at HMP Thorn Criss, a Category D adult male prison, located in Appleton Thorn, south of Warrington. HMP Thorn Cross has operational capacity of 430., We are looking for caring, compassionate but also driven professionals who can help us drive our vision for a fair and inclusive healthcare access to all. Our new Healthcare Assistant will:
• Hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent
• Have a non-judgemental and compassionate approach
• Have experience within a previous healthcare setting
• Any experience within a prison / secure setting would be a bonus!

  This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, and you will work on rotational shifts, including nights and weekends. Salary: This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary up to £27,195 per annum - depending on experience. How will we support you?
