Full Job Description

As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

  • Support the full patient journey, from entry to discharge
  • Support the nursing and pharmacy teams within primary care health centres, as well as aon wings and blocks
  • Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
  • Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
  • Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics

  • Hold a NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent
  • Have a non-judgemental and compassionate approach
  • Ideally, you will be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the location of the prison

    This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. Gatwick IRC is a detention centre based on the grounds of Gatwick Airport. Hours: This is a full time role, with healthcare being offered 24/7 to patients. Shifts are 07:00 - 19:30 and 19:00 - 07:30. The role involves working nights and weekends on a rota basis. Salary: This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary of £29,085 per annum. How will we support you?
