Full Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences (MCCN) based at The Maples Specialist Neurological Continuing Health Care Unit, in Boothstown. You will have previous healthcare experience and be willing to undertake relevant further training required to be able to fulfil the role. The unit prides itself in providing specialist patient centered care whilst having a productive hands on approach to both teaching and learning. Successful applicants will work within the department and supporting the nursing staff.,
- Be able to work collaboratively with all members of the MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) and to make referrals as appropriate
- To provide support and care for the patient and their family respecting their need for privacy and dignity
- To utilise developed clinical skills specific to speciality
- You will practice in accordance with the professional, ethical and legal framework for nursing
- You will be passionate about the delivery of excellent patient care.
- You will also have good communication skills and have the skills to inspire and motivate yourself and others to deliver safe, clean and personal care.
- You should also be able to prioritise your workload daily to ensure that the demands and needs of the patients and the unit are met.
