Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for experienced community Healthcare Assistant who have the skills, knowledge and experience to assist the nursing team in delivering excellent patient care, This is a hands-on patient facing role; we are seeking individuals to join our team who are caring, compassionate and confident, who demonstrate effective communication, excellent customer service skills, good IT skills and the ability to support patients with interventions and/or queries. The postholder will be a key member of the practice team, responsible for undertaking patient health checks inc. BP / ECG monitoring / height and weight, taking blood samples, health and wellbeing advice and promotion.,

• Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
• Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
• A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
• Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year
• Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week
