Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Primary Care team at HMP The Mount, a category C adult male prison located on the outskirts of Bovingdon Village, Hertfordshire. This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, and you will work on rotational shifts, As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
- Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
- Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics
- Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.
- Hold a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent
