The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., To assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.
Perform patient observations: temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood glucose and urinalysis following a period of on-job instruction and training.
To undertake delegated duties related to patient care that contributes to the ongoing support of patients.

The post is for permanent healthcare support worker with part time hours available. To work on the ward, it will involve rotation onto night duty; the ability to have a flexible approach to working hours is essential.
The post holder will support the trained nurse and other health care professionals in the delivery of the highest standard of patient focused care. They will assist in improving the quality of the fundamental aspects of Health and Social Care for individuals who are acutely or chronically ill, frail or disabled.
