Full Job Description
Due to expansion in renal services, we are seeking to recruit a highly motivated band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly hard working professional team at West Cornwall Renal Unit.
The successful applicant will assist the renal team to deliver excellent patient care and technical support for patients undergoing haemodialysis., To contribute to the optimum delivery of care for patients with end stage renal disease undergoing haemodialysis.
To have a broad understanding of the complex needs of this group of patients.
To assist the team in always providing an excellent service by ensuring a sound knowledge of the patient and service requirements.
To prepare haemodialysis machines and trollies according to individual patient prescriptions.
Previous experience is not required as full training and support will be provided. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a caring attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with patients and other healthcare professionals within a small team.
