Full Job Description

This is a Healthcare Assistant role at Elysium Healthcare's Ann House facility in Kendal, Cumbria. The role involves providing care and support to people with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs, with the aim of helping them lead more independent and fulfilling lives. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and friendly team, and will have access to training and development opportunities to further their career., As a Healthcare Assistant at Ann House, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including ward rounds, analyzing behaviours, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support. This may include assisting with personal hygiene. It is a challenging but rewarding role, and requires a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance. The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week, including nights and weekends.
