Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team in the beautiful village of Godstone. The position is part time across Monday-Friday. This will be a combination of shifts depending on clinic room availability., The main responsibilities of this role will be supporting the wider healthcare team with a variety of clinical procedures and administrative support. This includes performing health checks and monitoring patients with long term conditions. The management of incoming pathology/microbiology and screening results e.g. bowel cancer/mammograms/cervical screening would be the responsibility of the successful candidate., DHC actively encourage and promote diversity, ensure all voices are heard and included and are committed to equal opportunities for all.

The contract for the surgery was taken over by DHC in January 2022 and has gone from strength to strength in recent years. The team is growing rapidly with the addition of care coordinators, a clinical pharmacist, a first contact physiotherapist, three clinical lead GPs and an enthusiastic management team. We are a vibrant and friendly team who are devoted to delivering a high standard of healthcare and customer service to our patients. DHC is working at the centre of the local health system to evolve and deliver integrated care and that requires strong partnerships with many organisations. In all of our services, we aim to put the patient at the centre of their care, make sure our services are easy to access by local patients and reduce waiting times for patients.
