Full Job Description
We are looking to appoint Healthcare Assistants, who are enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for caring to join our dedicated Team on Day Surgery day surgery ward is based within the Day Surgery Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital and has 30 beds of which 6 are shared with the children's team. We provide care for patients undergoing day case surgery through four theatres and one procedure room. Our ward's opening hours are from 07 : 30 hours to 20 : 00 hours Monday to a Healthcare Assistant you will work as part of a large multidisciplinary team and will play a key role in delivering the fundamentals of care for patients under the supervision of a registered nurse, whilst supporting patients to achieve the shared goals. Individuals should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills who are willing to learn and take on new challenges as the service develops., Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills, training and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be details of duties can be found in the job will be an expectation of a flexible approach to shifts be advised - this vacancy may close early if we reach a sufficient amount of applications., For the main duties and responsibilities for this role please read the attached job description and person specification.
