Full Job Description

Position: Team Leader (Day Shifts) Compensation: A£14.15 per hour, plus additional incentives Schedule: Full-time, 7 am - 7 pm, 3-4 shifts per week, including alternate weekends and an on-call weekend rota Location: Mansfield About the Role This Team Leader role is an opportunity for an experienced individual to provide compassionate, resident-focused care while leading and supporting a dedicated team.   • Primary Responsibilities As Team Leader, the individual will provide the highest standard of care while promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents. Responsibilities include:
  • Leading the team to deliver personalized care, respecting each resident's choice, dignity, and independence
  • Supporting caregivers in providing personal care and daily assistance, such as washing, dressing, and eating
  • Administering medication accurately
  • Providing input during shift handovers to ensure continuity of care
  • Upholding a positive, resident-centred environment
  • Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or Registered Nurse)
  • Minimum one year of experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • Understanding of person-centred care principles and safeguarding
  • Full driver's license
  • Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to signs of abuse
  • Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
  • Ability to commute within 30 minutes of the location
  • Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Two years' experience in a similar role in a care or nursing home
  • Experience in dementia care
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or above
  • Previous team management experience
