Full Job Description

The Integrated respiratory service has an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 administrator/ support role to join the Pulmonary rehabilitation team. The post is a permanent post, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the clinical team with administrative duties, whilst working as part of the busy therapy team.,

  • To provide an administrative and clerical service to facilitate the smooth running of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Therapy Service.
  • To liaise with the therapy reception team and other therapy teams in the management of clinics.
  • To assist the therapists in certain delegated clinical therapy duties.
  • To provide a front-line reception service, and to take the Pulmonary Rehabilitation department's telephone calls and the whole therapy department where necessary.
  • To input data onto spreadsheets and run simple reports as requested e.g. for national audits and local reporting
  • To be involved in project and business intelligence work, as guided by the clinical team lead
  • To ensure that clinical areas are maintained in a clean and tidy condition
  • To be responsible for ordering stock and non-stock supplies.
  • Undertake duties to assist the Therapy Administration Team Leader as required.

    We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic healthcare assistant to join our Community Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team
  • You will be part of the team composed of a lead physiotherapist, a respiratory specialist nurse, a health care assistant, and an administrative staff. A valid driving license is essential for this role as the post holder will be required to travel to various venues/ community centres within Buckinghamshire where Pulmonary Rehabilitation sessions are delivered.
