Healthcare Assistant- Laurie Pike Health Centre - Birmingham Division

Modality Partnership Birmingham Division has a part-time vacancy for a Health Care Assistant working 30 hours practice based including 5 hours per week mobile across Hillcrest Surgery and Laurie Pike Practices. The postholder will be a high performing HCA working at Laurie Pike Health Centre and across Birmingham division including one a week domiciliary visit. We are seeking dedicated postholders who will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of our patients through the delivery of safe patient care. You will also require a full driving licence.

This job is suitable for individuals who can demonstrate safe and effective patient interactions ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care whilst working alongside the wider nursing team and practice team., This is a hands-on patient facing role; we are seeking individuals to join our team who are caring, compassionate and confident, who demonstrate effective communication, excellent customer service skills, good IT skills and the ability to support patients with interventions and/or queries. The postholder will be a key member of the practice team, responsible for undertaking patient health checks inc. BP / ECG monitoring / height and weight, taking blood samples, health and wellbeing advice and promotion.
