Full Job Description

Shifts : Hours a week over 7 days, 7 : 45pm - 8 : 15am (4 week rolling rota),

  • Support service userswith in-house activities and hobbies
  • Providing support to achieve every day goals including personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting
  • Manage some behaviours that challenge
  • Assistand support to attend medical appointments
  • Observe, monitor and record physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff
  • Provide emotional support to individuals and their families
  • Support and monitor healthcare needs, including administering medication
  • Understand communication needs and adapt your communication to each individual
  • Work with other professionals, such as nurses and therapists, to ensure consistency of support, Priory wouldnt exist without combined energy, expertise and effort.   • You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team alongside our qualified staff, youll help to meet the psychological and emotional needs of a diverse group of individuals, with varying degrees of either mental health or physical issues. Every day, you'll make a positive difference to their lives. Our teams provide care and support for individuals with different conditions at Priory sites all across the UK.

    Your own positive attitude and genuine passion for providinghigh quality care and support will be integral to the culture of our teams. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people wesupport. Whilst previous experience is a plus, the key things youneed to excel in this role are empathy and a passion for caring and a strong sense of responsibility., It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to peoples lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support. Not only is full training provided, but there are numerous career pathways available to you, including our Nurse Apprenticeship program. Person Specification Experience Essential
