Full Job Description

Under the supervision of a registered nurse assisting the Ward/Department team in providing the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carer. The post holder will take undertake a range of tasks and duties as delegated by a registered nurse. You will be responsible for providing high standards of care. Your role will involve assisting the nursing staff with some clinical duties. Training will be arranged for you to achieve these skills.Being a Band 3 HCA also means you will lead by example and supervise and support junior members of staff to improve and maintain high standards of care.

The successful applicant should be an experienced band 2/3 HCA, highly motivated with good interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure and work well within the team. They should have a keen desire to provide and maintain a high standard of care at all times. You must be flexible days and nights to meet the needs of the ward roster and the safe staffing of our ward.
