Do you want to be a Healthcare Assistant and join one of the best Stroke Units in the UK? Our Stroke Unit has maintained the 'A grade' in the latest Royal College of Physicians' Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP) audit. Our stroke service is the designated 24 hour thrombolysis centre for Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire with 15 hyper- acute beds and27 acute rehabilitation beds., Working as a Healthcare Assistant, you will be part of a busy multi-disciplinary team who are dedicated in providing individualised, evidence based stroke care management. With the support of a stroke practice development sister, stroke specialist nurses and the Trust's education department, we are able to offer a range of education and development opportunities, including in-house training and external courses. Working across hyper-acute, acute and step down areas, you will have the opportunity to continue to progress your professional development, gain specialist knowledge in the care of acute stroke and skills in caring for rehabilitation patients.
