Full Job Description

Women's Health Outpatients Department (WHOP) is a small friendly unit, where women attend clinic for reviews as well as minor procedures. This post would suite someone with an interest in working in the caring profession but specialising in women's health. The Unit currently works Monday-Friday 0800-1800 and the successful applicant would be expected to work their hours across the month to support the service. You must be highly organised, an excellent communicator and have a passion to deliver high standards of patient care.,

  • promote and maintain a welcoming approach to patients, relatives and visitors
  • set up and close down clinic rooms
  • support patients through their clinic journey
  • act as patient advocate
  • maintain patient's privacy and dignity
  • alert the Registered Practitioner to any change or concern relating to the welfare of a patient
