You'll provide crucial support to patients battling blood disorders and cancer, offering care, comfort, and a listening ear during their treatment. With your exceptional communication skills and empathy, you'll help create a supportive, healing environment.
The post holder will deliver compassionate, high-quality care under the guidance of a Registered Practitioner, ensuring patient privacy, dignity, and individualised care. They will promptly report any changes or concerns regarding the patient's wellbeing.

Please note: banding of post will depend on skills achieved by applicants and the current Band 3 pathway., You will be based within the Centre helping support the Consultants and Specialist nurses in the smooth and efficient running of their clinics. You will undertake phlebotomy and cannulation but all necessary training will be provided. You must possess excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team as well as on your own. You will need to be calm, professional and efficient. This can be a demanding role and it is essential you enjoy being a team player.
