Full Job Description

The role will involve working in a high pressured environment taking receipt of large volumes of laboratory specimens. Checking and examining electronic and paper requests and transfer requests onto the Laboratory Information System in preparation for sample analysis.

You will be rostered into the laboratory department as part of a team of Band 2 staff, carrying out technical, clerical and administrative duties.

It is essential that you have the ability to work flexibly between the hours of 07:00 and 21:00, inclusive of Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holiday, on rotation.
