Bedford Modern School is an HMC Independent Co-educational Day School located on the outskirts of Bedford. Our facilities are excellent and include a separate Junior School, dedicated Sixth Form building and extensive sports facilities. We offer a premium education, with a wide and varied curriculum, where the intellectual needs of each pupil is given priority.
We are looking for an experienced and diligent administrator to support and assist the school healthcare specialists to provide a clinically effective, high quality of service to students and to provide first aid care to all members of the school.

This is a pivotal role and we are looking for applicants with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to retain high levels of confidentiality and be able to deal with situations calmly, professionally and with understanding. You will need excellent computer skills, including word and excel, along with the ability to use databases for recording and monitoring information as well as producing reports.
In return, we can offer a friendly and supportive working environment, the option to be part of a private healthcare scheme, a generous pension scheme, CPD opportunities through the Harpur Trust, free lunches (in term time) and free parking.
The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 8am - 4.30pm (with one hour unpaid lunchbreak), Monday to Friday, term time (including Inset days) plus 5 weeks during the school holidays.
