Full Job Description

The main duty of a Health care support worker is to assist the qualified nursing staff in meeting the identified needs of each patient, in a safe and competent manner.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health care Support Worker to join Nightingale Ward and the new Paediatric Assessment Unit recently opened. Nightingale is a very busy Children's Ward looking after Children aged 0-16 years old. Working with children and families preferably within a health care setting would be advantageous.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
