Healthcare Support Worker in Medicine

Working in these different settings can give staff a real opportunity to get to know their patients and the local area.
We are currently looking for Health Care Assistants (Band 2) to join various Medical ward teams. We have a huge range of clinical specialities on our medical wards which includes Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Care of the elderly, Acute Assessment Unit, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Stroke so a vast amount of experience and skills can be gained., + As a health care assistant on the ward your responsibilities would be to help with various activities of daily living. For instance; checking observations and escalating any concerns, assisting patients with Eating and drinking , meeting personal hygiene care needs and mobility.
+ You will be constantly providing our patients with the highest standard of care with Barts Health Trust's WECARE values at the heart of everything we do.
+ You will be doing a combination of Long day and Night shifts including weekends
