Full Job Description

We can offer fully supported training in the Healthcare Support Workers role in order to help fulfil your passion and deliver the best care to our patients, families and carers. Our patient deserve the best quality compassionate care that we can deliver and are looking for driven, enthusiastic, caring individuals to join our Team to deliver this promise.

We care for elderly patients with acute health needs which often need a period of time to get back on their feet, alongside some complex medical treatment. Within the directorate we offer the following pathways;

Older persons emergency admission units, which assesses patients on admission to assess care needs and medical plans for up to 72hours.

Short stay wards are wards that or patient stay over 72 hours and have more complex medical and nursing needs, allowing staff to build holistic relationships with patients, families and carers. This includes those patients that require longer rehabilitation.

This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2.
