When you start we'll give you the training you need to feel safe and supported in the role. We'll support you achieving the care certificate which is a universal qualification, recognised across the health sector. We'll give you training in your specialist area so you are able to grow and develop your career with us at Royal Papworth. We're passionate about education and investing in our staff.

Examples of what you may do as part of the role are:

Washing and dressing patients

Serving Meals and feeding patients

Helping patients to move around

Making beds

Communicating to patients and their families

Taking patients observations

Assisting with clinical tasks eg taking blood sugar recordings

We have an extensive support system in place for staff support who can offer 24 hour support and guidance to help you look after yourself whilst caring for others.

The Interview for this position will take place on Saturday 7th December at Royal Papworth Hospital.
