Full Job Description
As the Heat Treatment Operator, you will carry out a range of processes that includes annealing, solution treatment and precipitation of aluminium's and related testing (hardness, conductivity and tensile). Hyde Details are NADCAP approved, the successful candidate will also work closely with our quality team to carry out process audits to ensure approvals are maintained, calibration checks and equipment checking. You will build on your industry knowledge and experience, keeping up to date with best practice and participate in internal and external training. You will also work closely with the other departments within Hyde Details to ensure that customer requirements are met.

We are looking to appoint a Heat Treatment Operator with industry knowledge and special process experience to work as part of our soft metal heat treatment team within our sheet metal and assembly business at our Dukinfield (Cheshire) site.,
- Special process / heat treatment and related testing experience (soft metals).
- Good understanding of the quality management systems / aerospace client specifications.
- Nadcap experience / knowledge preferred.
- Experience of carrying out heat treatment equipment calibration.
- An awareness of heat treatment audits.
- Excellent communications skills are imperative.
- Must have good team working ethic, be highly pro-active and motivated.
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings and understand specifications.
- IT literate.
- The ability to work flexible hours should the business need arise.
- Suitable training to enhance existing skills will be provided.
