Full Job Description

  • Assist the Facilities Manager in all aspects of site operations as needed, including Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality, Compliance Management, Planned and Reactive Maintenance and Student Communication.

  • Support the students with all queries regarding accommodation and services.

  • Manage contractors and sub-contractors working at site in conjunction with the Facilities Manager

  • Represent the Sodexo in inter-departmental meetings to support and facilitate communication and action between departments (where required).

  • Independently maintain and update administrative policies and processes.

  • Set up, maintain, and organise site's central files, information, filing, and messages.

  • Provide administrative support to the Facilities team.

  • Manage the Maximo system, including receiving work request, assigning work orders to engineers,

  • Entering system data and providing the overall system administration.

  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Carry out operational shifts and support other areas of the business as required.

  • Support other sites including travel to undertake monitoring as required.

  • Support the wider contracts with timely close out of internal and external audit actions.

    Resilience when dealing with difficult and challenging people and complex situations

  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment

  • Intelligent approach to performance monitoring including relevant experience

  • Demonstrate use of computerized maintenance management systems - i.e. QFM System

  • Available to respond to out of normal hours emergency situations

  • Proficient IT skills, including Excel, Word and Microsoft Office.
